1. (U) On July 21 Ambassador spoke with Foreign Secretary
Palith Kohona following Post's transmittal of the non-paper
concerning the additional Iranian entities designated under
E.O. 13382 (ref A) and information on Ambassador Burns'
participation in the in the P5 1 talks with the Iranians (ref
B). (Note: We also shared the information with Tourism
Minister Moragoda who is a key player on Iran in Sri Lanka.
End Note) Kohona thanked the Ambassador for the information
and said he would share it with the appropriate authorities
in the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank.
