On June 4, Deputy Chief of Mission Kelly Keiderling presented Ref A
TIP Action Plan and Ref B demarche to Deputy Prime Minister Victor
Stepaniuc, who chairs the National Committee for Preventing and
Combating Trafficking in Human Beings. Stepaniuc promised action
and close cooperation with the Embassy on the Action Plan in order
to lift Moldova out of its Tier 3 placement.
