We delivered reftel information and asked if GOM
would be interested in the issue on October 17, to
Carolina Popovici, Counselor at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Ms.
Popovici stated that she would raise the question
up to the minister's level, but thought that her
government had no direct interest in this topic.
She assumed unofficially that the official reply
would be that Moldova had no interest in assisting
the USG with this situation.
