¶1. (C) On February 11, poloff discussed the UN.GIFT and Vienna Forum
to Human Trafficking (reftel) with MFA Director of Consular and
Social Affairs Ambassador Jaouad El Himid and encouraged Moroccan
participation in the Forum.
¶2. (C) El Himdi informed poloff that a Moroccan delegation would be
participating in the forum at a technical level. He was unable,
however, to supply poloff with a list of GOM attendees. El Himdi
agreed with USG position that the Vienna Forum should not lead to any
outcome document calling for commitments or recommendations to the
UN.
