Poloff passed reftel data on ISN/WMDT and DTRA plans to launch a second generation GI Information Portal (GIIP), along with a request to update contact information, to Mohan Mathews, Australia's principal Global Initiative Point of Contact, on October 15. Mr. Mathews, who is the Executive Officer for the Counter-Terrorism Coordination Section, Counter-Terrorism Branch, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, reconfirmed that he remains the GIIP Partner Nation Liaison for Australia. He also confirmed he is responsible for performing the tasks mentioned in refs A and B; that Australia has an active GIIP account; and that a new log-on for recently appointed Counter-Terrorism Ambassador Bill Paterson has been requested but not yet approved by the GIIP administrator. ¶2. In an e-mail on October 15, Mr. Mathews confirmed the foregoing and noted he had forwarded an updated list of Australian GI points of contact to the GIIP administrator, copying Molly Sergio and Sarah Prescott.
