¶1. (SBU) In a meeting November 7 with PolOff, Director
General of International Organizations in the Ministry of
External Relations Adolphe Nahayo confirmed that Burundi will
continue to vote against any no-action motions and in favor
of resolutions concerning Iran, Burma and the DPRK expected
to arise during Third Committee UNGA meetings in November.
PolOff expressed USG gratitude for Burundi's continued
cooperation in 2008 and Burundi's voting pattern on similar
no-action motions and resolutions during 2007.
