NON-PROLIFERATION, ARMS LIMITATION AND DISARMAMENT
AGREEMENTS

(SBU) Ref talking points were delivered on August 21 to
Bernadett Kollar, Department of International Organizations
at the GoH Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kollar conferred
with her colleagues in the Security Policy and
Non-Proliferation Department and told POLOFF on August 27
that Hungary would likely support Ref resolution in the First
Committee, possibly as a co-sponsor. A final decision would
be made after consultation with EU partners as preparations
for the 63rd UNGA continue. Post will advise the Department
once a final decision is reached.
