ENTITIES AND INDIVIDUALS UNDER E.O. 13382

(SBU) On August 21, Econoff delivered reftel demarche to
Ministry of Finance Department of International Relations
Head of Unit Dr. Krisztina Kovacs. The same day, Econoffs
met with the Hungarian Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)
Director Dr. Gabor Simonka and informed him that the U.S. had
designated additional Iranian entities under E.O. 13382. Dr.
Simonka indicated that these entities had been previously
designated through the EU, and told Econoffs that they would
ensure that any assets discovered in Hungary from these
entities would be frozen.
