PolOff provided reftel views to Attila Zimonyi, the MFA's
International Organizations and Human Rights Department Head,
on June 10. Zimanyi responded that the GOH fully understands
the U.S. views and frustration related to the UN Human Rights
Council. However, Zimanyi noted that Hungary plans to pursue
membership on the Council for 2011.
