Fabian told PolOff October 20 that State Secretary Laszlo
Varkonyi will represent Hungary at the October 22 Georgia
Donors Conference. Fabian stated that, based on current
budgetary restrictions, Hungary plans to make a symbolic
contribution of five million Hungarian Forints (approximately
USD 25,000.) He noted that Hungary has already pledged
80,000 Euros through OSCE as well as providing 10 containers
with approximately 100,000 kilograms of humanitarian supplies
to Georgia following the armed conflict with Russia.
