AMENDMENT TO SAINT VINCENT

1. (U) Post has a good working relationship with the Good
News Project staff in their Wisconsin headquarters and on the
ground in the Eastern Caribbean. Recent Denton Program
humanitarian shipments to Dominica and St. Lucia were handled
very well by the local consignee, working closely with the
Good News Project local staff in those countries. The
receipt of goods, customs clearance, and distribution to the
beneficiaries has been handled smoothly. Post supports the
use of Denton Program resources for the planned shipment to
St. Vincent and the Grenadines and, as in the past, will work
with the consignee and Good News Project staff to take full
advantage of the positive public diplomacy aspects of this
operation.
