1. (C) POLOFF discussed reftel points with MFA EU
Correspondent Alexander Micovcin on January 25. Micovcin took
detailed notes and promised to share and discuss the points
with his colleagues. Micovcin confirmed Slovakia's
willingness in principle to support additional, targeted
sanctions against Burma, but said that Slovakia would only
act with the EU and that there is still some resistance
there. Micovcin said Burma would not likely make it to the
GAERC agenda until March.
