Embassy Bogota Maritime Scientific Research Authorizations Officer beginning October 17, 2008 through October 1, 2009 will be Megan Selmon (unclassified email: SelmonML@state.gov; tel: 011-571-383-2448). 2, Interim/alternate point of contact is Deputy Economic Counselor William Popp (unclassified email: PoppWW@state.gov; tel: 011-571-383-2780). Post reminds the Department that the Colombian Government requires three months' lead time, from the date of the receipt of complete documentation, to process any maritime scientific research authorization through its interagency process.
