Econoff delivered reftel points on May 7 to Nohra Quintero,
Acting Director for Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, and Liliana Ariza, Advisor for Intellectual
Property at the Ministry of Trade. Quintero and Ariza
indicated that the GOC has not yet developed a position on a
particular WIPO Secretary General candidate, but said the
ministries were in discussion and would advise post when a
position was available.
