1. On May 6 FAS/Bogota delivered a letter with the talking
points and bio of the U.S. candidate to the Colombian
Ministry of External Relations (MRE). FAS/Bogota is
translating this information into Spanish and will deliver
English and unofficial Spanish translation to the members of
the local Committee on the Codex Alimentarius for the
Government of Colombia.
2. FAS/Bogota will monitor any responses regarding
Colombia's participation at the meeting and its position in
regard to support for the U.S. candidate.
