1. (S) On September 12, poloff delivered the reftel non-paper
(regarding the April 2008 visit of Iranian Islamic
Revolutionary Guard Corps officials to a Swiss underground
construction firm) to Erwin Bollinger, Director of the Export
Controls Policy Division of the Federal State Secretariat for
Economic Affairs (SECO). Bollinger did not have an immediate
substantive response. He said he was not aware of such a
visit, but undertook to look into the matter. Post will
remain engaged with SECO on this issue.
