(C) On September 25 DATTOFF delivered reftel points in letter form to MOD contacts Lieutenant Colonel Juergen Joachim von Sandrart (North America Bilaterals Desk Officer - German Joint Staff J31) and Lieutenant Colonel Jared Sembritzki (Africa Bilaterals Desk Officer - German Joint Staff J31). Both individuals reviewed the points and expressed no reservations. They promised to forward copies of the document to the appropriate officials within the MOD (Berlin and Bonn),and the Einsatzfuehrungskommando (Federal Armed Forces Operations Command) in Potsdam. ¶2. (C) Later that day, POLOFF delivered same points to MFA America's Desk Officer Weert Boehrner. Boerner expressed appreciation for the information, expressed no reservations, and promised to share the information among the interested parties of the German interagency.
