On November 26 the Embassy delivered reftel points for the proposed
Global Partnership for Agriculture and Food (GPAF) to Milanka
Davidovic, Head of the Unit for EU, WTO, and International
Cooperation in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water
Management. Ms. Davidovic attended the UN High Level Conference on
Food Security in Rome in June 2008 and told us she planned to
participate in subsequent meetings. She expected Serbia would
commit to the multilateral group and work in line with other
countries to tackle the current food crisis. Ms. Davidovic said she
would provide the Embassy with requested feedback.
