on September 19. Noting that this is the first time he has
received information about the Friends of Pakistan group,
Director Zhang promised to forward the information for
internal discussions. POLOFF urged the MFA to reply as soon
as possible about FM Yang Jiechi's attendance at the
September 26 inaugural meeting.
