We delivered reftel letter and non-paper to Amadou Toure,
Deputy Director for Political Affairs at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, and Mariam Keita, Technical Assistant to the
Director General of the Post in the Ministry of
Communication, on July 3. Keita agreed to pass on the
non-paper and letter to Yoro Coulibaly, Director General of
the Post. In a follow-up phone call, Coulibaly said a number
of countries have requested support for their candidates for
the Council of Administration and Postal Operations Council,
and that he and the Minister of Communication would meet next
week to determine whom to support. We will report any
subsequent information septel.
