1. (SBU) On June 9, Acting Deputy Economic Counselor
delivered reftel information to Ioannis Sidiropoulos,
Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and
to Panagiotis Thomopoulos, Deputy Governor of the Bank of
Greece (BG). Both replied that they will pass along the
information to appropriate offices within their institutions.
Also on June 9, Political Officer delivered reftel
information to Loukas Tsokos, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, D1
Directorate of UN and International Organizations. He will
pass on to appropriate offices. Post will continue to engage
with the GoG on this issue and will report any significant
developments.
