1. (U) POLOFF delivered subject demarche on March 26 to the
MFA A5 Department for CIS Countries, Counselor Elisabeth
Fo with Belarus at this time. Lacking a
diplomatic mission in Minsk, minimal reporting on Belarussian
affairs is covered by the Greek mission in Moscow. The Greek
Ambassador last visited Minsk approximately one year ago to
deliver his credentials to the GoB. Fotiatdou indicated that
although the Ambassador is due for another visit, any
considerations will be postponed until further notice.
