1. (SBU) On March 7, Economic Section delivered reftel points
on UNSCR 1803 to Ioannis Sidiropoulos, Secretary General of
the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and to Panagiotis
Kyriakopoulos, Director of Monetary Policy of Banks for the
Bank of Greece.
2. (SBU) On March 13, Economic Counselor discussed reftel
points with Panayotis Thomopoulos, Deputy Governor of the
Bank of Greece, who energetically emphasized the GoG,s
commitment to implement all financial aspects of UNSCR 1803.
Post will continue to engage the GoG and will report any
significant response.
