(S) On December 21, 2007, EmbOff delivered reftel points on
efforts by the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center
(SSRC) to procure large quantities of chemicals useful in
producing chemical weapons to Dionyssios Kyvetos, the Greek
Ministry of Foreign Affairs official responsible for Greek
participation in the Australia Group (AG). Kyvetos had no
substantive reply, but promised to follow-up if he had any
questions or concerns.
