1. (SBU) DepPolCouns delivered ref A demarche on increasing
UNGA Plenary support for the U.S. First Committee resolution
on "Compliance with non-proliferation, arms limitation, and
disarmament agreements and commitments" to MFA D1 Directorate
for International Organizations deputy head Loukas Tsokos.
DepPolCouns noted U.S. appreciation to Greece for its
co-sponsorship of the resolution and encouraged Greece to
support the resolution when it came up for an UNGA vote.
Tsokos acknowledged Greek co-sponsorship of the resolution
and said that Greece intended to vote Yes when the resolution
was considered by the UNGA.
