¶1. (SBU) On December 31, 2007, poloff delivered reftel points
to Ambassador Alexios Christopoulos, Director of the A10
Directorate for Asia and Oceania.
¶2. (SBU) On January 3, poloff spoke with Ms. Vassiliki Bafi,
attache to Ambassador Christopoulos, who advised that Greece
"shares the same views, opinions and thoughts exactly" as the
United States on this issue and added that the GoG was
pleased and satisfied that a new date had been set for
elections in Pakistan.
