1. On September 3, A/Pol Counselor delivered reftel
non-paper on the Afghan Governemnt's proposal to expand the
Afghan National Army to Ambassador Alexios Christopoulos,
Director of the MFA A10 Directorate for Asia and Oceania.
Christopoulos noted that Greece is not a member of the Joint
Coordination and Monitoring Board, but thanked us for the
information and promised to follow-up if he had any further
substantive comment.
