Turkey signed the amendment to limit the IOM Director General
to two terms and stated that Turkey would give due
consideration to Ambassador Swing's candidacy (ref A). In
addition, she would share with the appropriate officers the
fact that
Ambassador Swing would be at the upcoming IOM conference in
Dakar.
