(SBU) We delivered reftel points July 1 to MFA Security
Affairs Director Metin Ergin and, separately, on July 8, to
MFA Latin America Head of Department Ece Ozturk-Cil. Ergin
and Ozturk-Cil thanked us for the points and said they
would share them promptly with appropriate parties. Neither
were aware of any association the designated terrorist
financiers or IJU leaders might have with Turkey but said
they would follow up with any such information or action
taken.
