(C) On Lebanon, Shamayleh noted that the GOJ and the USG see eye-to-eye and described Syrian behavior as "thuggish." ¶3. (C) On Kosovo, Shamayleh reiterated that Jordan intends to recognize, but needs to wait until after the OIC summit (refs B, C). ¶4. (C) On preventing the flow of terrorists to Iraq, Shamayleh did not offer a substantive response but indicated a strong interest in the suggested measures in paragraph 12 of ref A.
