Al-Shamayleh, Director of the Foreign Minister's Private
Office, who expressed concern about the instability in Chad,
the threat to the legitimate government, and reports of
external support for the rebels. Shamayleh said he needed to
review the issue and consult the Minister, but expected that
his government would be supportive.
