Post delivered reftel on establishing a Global Partnership for
Agriculture and Food (GPAF) to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of
Agriculture, and Ministry of Finance. Post will report the
Jordanian response septel, but anticipates that Jordan, a net
importer of food whose average prices have risen 65 percent over the
past year, would welcome the partnership and become an active
member.
