(C) Post did not find any new information that meets the
requirements laid out in Ref A, regarding the views toward
the United States or its interests of Awn Al-Khasawneh,
Jordan's incumbent member of the International Court of
Justice (and former Royal Court Chief). We do note, however,
that as reported Ref B, Jordan's MFA has repeatedly told us
that the re-election of Khasawneh to the ICJ (and his
elevation to the post of chief justice) is one of their
highest international priorities.
