Planning Dialogue concept with Foreign Minister Salah
Al-Bashir on September 4. The FM - who had just returned
from abroad - said he would examine the proposal and that
Jordan would likely come back with a positive response and
suggestions for topics. Separately, PolOff discussed reftel
proposal with MFA Policy Planning and Research Director Omar
Nahar on August 25. Nahar's reaction was enthusiastic.
