Dr. Assan said that he would communicate the message of the
demarche to the Ministry's Chief Director. Post does not
expect a substantive reply, however. Ghana is in a period of
political transition, with a presidential run-off election on
December 28, and will have a new Foreign Minister sometime in
January.
