(U) Per reftels, Post re-delivered Department's invitation to
the Proliferation Security Initiative Fifth Anniversary
Workshop, and asked the status of Nigeria's participation in
the event. Dr. Charles Ononye, Deputy Director of the MFA
First United Nations Division, said that the Nigerian
government had not yet identified a delegate, but would
inform Post of any future movement on the matter. Post will,
in turn, keep the Department apprised of any developments.
