Per reftel, Post has confirmed the bona fides of Application
¶050122252. On October 9, 2008, Poloff and Air Attache met
with Nigerian Air Force Director of Logistics Air Commodore
¶A. Saddieq, who initially confirmed the sale, saying that the
Air Force did indeed have ATR42 Aircraft on order, and that
the order of Microwave Amplifiers sounded familiar. He
promised his office would follow up shortly, which it did in
an October 10 note that said, "This is to confirm that the
commodities and quantities highlighted in DTC Case: 050122252
are to be employed into the RADAR GABBIANO T200 which will be
integrated in the ATR 42 MPA aircraft for the Nigerian Air
Force. (signed) Wing Commander AT Marquis, Programme
Manager, ATR 42 MPA NAF".
