(C) During a December 21 meeting with Ambassador, UAE Minister of
Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan(AbZ) said that he
plans to spend Christmas Eve in Bethlehem with Abu Mazin. AbZ added
that he is hearing that Israelis are confiscating Jerusalem IDs from
Palestinians, especially Christian Palestinians. This is bad because
the perception is that the "Muslim" Palestinian Authority is ignoring
the problem. AbZ expressed incredulity when he heard that Hanan
Ashrawi's daughter has had her ID confiscated.
