Reftel requested that post conduct a post-shipment verification at the Ras Al Khaimah Hotel, Room 227 (Guest: Gilbert Blakely) for the shipment of a Signaling Apparatus exported as No License Required by Industrial Scientific, Oakdale, PA. ¶2. On 15 Oct 2008, Export Control Officer (ECO) visited the RAK Hotel and attempted to contact Blakely. Room 227 was unoccupied and Hotel staff vaguely recalled a Mr. Blakely who stay in the distant past but they were unaware of his status and unable to provide any additional information of relevance. ECO also made several attempts to call the UAE mobile phone number provided but it appears to be out of service. ¶3. Post considers this PSV to be inconclusive as we are unable to establish contact with the end user. OLSON
