(C) On September 23, post received a diplomatic note from the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs providing a copy of the UAE's draft
nuclear law and requesting USG comments by October 20, 2008. The
diplomatic note stated that UAE will also circulate the draft to
other major nuclear supplier states and the IAEA. Post will email a
copy of the note and the law to NEA/ARP (Masilko) and ISN/NESS
(Burkart).
