¶1. (C) Ambassador delivered demarche in reftel on September 8
to Cote d'Ivoire's Permanent Representative to the United
Nations Alcide Djedje, who was in Abidjan.
¶2. (C) Poloff delivered demarche in reftel on September 9 to
Etienne Kindia, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs Department for United Nations and International
Organizations. Kindia had no substantive comment. He noted
that Cote d'Ivoire's Mission to the United Nations is closely
following these issues.
