On November 29, Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Armenian
MFA Director for International Organizations Dziunik
Aghajanian to encourage Armenia's participation in the
December 4-6 Avian Influenza Conference in New Delhi.
Aghajanian was pleased that post was engaged in this effort
and expressed interest in further cooperation on Avian and
Pandemic flu. Armenia will send two representatives to the
conference: Nune Bakunts of the State Hygienic and
Anti-Epidemic Inspectorate (Ministry of Health),and Armen
Poghosya of The World Bank Project Implementation Unit
(Ministry of Agriculture).
PENNINGTON
