MFA Director of Arms Control and International Security Armen
Yedigarian told pol/econ chief that the GOAM is in the
process of acceding to the International Convention for the
Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism. President
Kocharian has signed the treaty, and it is currently
undergoing required review by Armenia's Constitutional Court.
It will then be sent to the National Assembly for
ratification. Less clear was the GOAM's plan for getting
started on that practical implementation.
