(C) Poloff delivered reftel demarche November 16 to MFA
Export Controls Section Chief Michal Miarka, who said that
his team was working on an outline of ideas for a joint
U.S.-Polish export control seminar with Georgia to be held in
Tbilisi in 2008. Miarka said that the MFA has not yet shared
this particular proposal with the Georgians, but he has has
discussed with them the general idea of a cooperative effort
to improve their export control system. According to Miarka,
the Georgians expressed interest in such collaboration.
