(C) Polish MFA's Kosovo Desk Officer, Grzegorz Szopinski,
seemed reticent to say more than the minimum on August 9 when
poloff demarched him on the time-limited period of
re-engagement over Kosovo (reftel). He reported only that
Poland wanted trans-atlantic unity on Kosovo policy and that
Poland opposed any division of Kosovo itself. Post will seek
to raise the issue with more senior officials, most of whom
are on leave.
