The Sixth Committee adopted without a vote the draft
resolutions requesting observer status in the General
Assembly for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of
the Gulf (Agenda item 166, A/C.6/62/L.7) and the Conference
on Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia
(Agenda item 165, A/C.6/62/L.8) on November 12, 2007 (refA).
Per refB, USUN joined consensus in the adoption of these
resolutions. Per refC, the United States was inscribed as a
co-sponsor of both resolutions.
