Embassy Tokyo Political Officer November 19 shared the
information contained in reftel with Hideaki Adachi, Deputy
Director of MOFA's First Middle East Division and special
assistant to Ambassador Tatsuo Arima, Japan's Special
Representative in Charge of Peace in the Middle East. Adachi
said Japan will not be in a position to identify the members
of its delegation until it receives the formal invitation.
At that point, Japan will provide the requested information
for credentials. It is unlikely the Japanese delegation will
require any assistance with visas.
