(SBU) Embassy political officer on May 17 raised the
importance of UNSCR 1267 with MOFA International
Counterterrorism Cooperation Division Deputy Director
Ishimura. Ishimura agreed on the continued need for
multilateral cooperation and affirmed Japan's commitment to
UN designation of terrorists and terrorist entities.
