(SBU) FAS The Hague delivered ref A points on May 4 to
Hanneke Bresser, Policy Officer, Dutch Environment Ministry.
Bresser confirmed, as reported ref B, that the Dutch will
vote yes to approve the European Commission proposal to
approve for import, food and feed purposes the two biotech
corn varieties (NK603xMON810 and 150xNK603) at the May 10 EU
Standing Committee meeting. She reiterated that the GONL
concurs with the European Food Safety Authority that these
varieties are safe.
