1. (SBU) OECD Export Credit Group Chair Nicole Bollen says
adopting a common line to eliminate new medium and long-term
export credits to Iran's government may be a challenge.
Bollen was non-committal on whether the Dutch would support
U.S. proposals for the common line during the April 23
semi-annual OECD Export Credit Arrangement plenary session.
2. (SBU) On April 18, Econoff shared reftel points regarding
a common line proposal with Bollen, who is also Coordinator
Debt Issues, Ministry of Finance and the Dutch representative
to the Paris Club. Bollen said the common line "might not
work," as the decision process requires consensus and if one
party objects the proposal is "dead."
